Charles Wolfersberger, CPA

Charles is a CPA and has worked in public accounting for nearly 19 years. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1997 with a master’s degree in Accountancy and spent the first eight years of his career working in the audit and consulting divisions of Grant Thornton, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte in Los Angeles and Denver. Beginning in 2006, he worked for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) - the regulator of CPA firms that audit publicly traded companies. Throughout his professional career, Charles has been active training hundreds of professionals across the country and, consequently, has a great passion helping others develop their knowledge and professional skills.

Prior to starting his Firm in 2011, Charles traveled over 500,000 miles, across 5 continents and 14 countries serving a wide array of public companies and accounting firms in the oil & gas, retail and consumer electronics industries. He developed and provided training to accounting professionals across the United States in the areas of tax accounting, equity transactions and international accounting standards.

Charles became involved in homeowner associations when he moved to Colorado in 2002 and served as an HOA Board member (holding titles of Treasurer and President) for over eight years. Due to the financial difficulties encountered by his own HOA neighborhood subsequent to the 2008 real estate crash, Charles led a project consolidating his HOA’s operations into his neighborhood’s local metropolitan district. The consolidation reduced the average out-of-pocket cost burden on homeowners by 10% and increased the neighborhood's operating cash flows by over 30%.

Due to the success achieved through his efforts in his own HOA, Charles established Wolfersberger, LLC in September 2011 and began focusing on serving the management and operational needs of HOAs and metropolitan districts across Colorado. The Firm was founded not only to provide high-quality property management services but to also (and especially) assist HOA-managed neighborhoods develop financially beneficial relationships with metropolitan districts. Charles is proud to be providing Colorado homeowners with unique, practical solutions that help improve the economic and quality-of-life conditions of their neighborhoods.

Within the first four years of founding Wolfersberger, LLC, Charles has assisted several HOA neighborhood clients in creating tens of thousands of dollars of additional free cash flow each year to fund neighborhood operations while reducing the financial burden placed on homeowners.

Charles and Dayna have been married for over 21 years and have five children. As former high school “band geeks” (Chuck played trombone and Dayna was in the color guard), they continue to pass their love of music on to their children—the four oldest of which play instruments.
