 Position  Description


We have an opening starting August 31st for a community manager in Commerce City/Brighton area. The community manager will manage the daily operations of a portfolio of homeowner association clients. Responsibilities will include serving as the principal advisor to boards of directors on matters of policy, financial and operational matters. The manager will be expected to prepare monthly board reports and presentations and attend clients' evening board meetings (which will cumulatively amount to approximately one to two times per week across the client portfolio). Responsibilities will also include managing phone calls, emails and other communitcations from homeowners in a timely manner and ensuring adequate follow-up and resolution of homeowner concerns.

Qualified candidates will posses the following skillset: 

  1. Customer service skills. Manages difficult situations diplomatically and is continually focused on providing superior customer service. Solves customer problems/concerns to the satisfaction of the customer while being careful to not to overstep authority, rules or limitations. Responds to emails and voicemails in a timely manner.  Skilled with managing and controlling personal emotions.
  3. “Can-do” attitude and team player.
  5. Meeting management skills. Prepares well for client board meetings.  Conducts well-organized and timely board meetings.  Manages contentious meetings judiciously. Collaborates with client board members in developing well-organized board meeting agendas.
  7. Writing skills. Able to take notes and draft accurate board meeting minutes that will be made available for public review. Able to assist homeowner boards with developing meeting announcements, newsletter articles, covenant violation letters, etc
  9. Covenant enforcement skills. Will evaluate weekly observation data submitted by neighborhood observers to ensure such observations comply with the covenant guidance and policies established by client boards. Authorize and distribute covenant violation letters to homeowners. Able to manage in a diplomatic, respectful manner homeowner communications/complaints regarding violation notices. Able to work with both homeowners and board members to develop reasonable solutions to address and correct identified violations.  Assist client boards with developing, revising and refining covenant guidance and policies.  Assist client boards with developing and implementing appropriate two-way communication with homeowners regarding covenant enforcement expectations.
  11. Colorado laws and regulations applicable to HOA and metropolitan districts. Working knowledge of Title 1 (“Elections”), Title 7 (“Corporations and Associations), Title 32 (Special Districts) and Article 33.3 of Title 38 (“Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act”) of the Colorado Revised Statutes. Property managers are expected to participate in periodic training each year to develop their knowledge and understanding of Colorado laws applicable to HOAs and metropolitan districts.
  13. Technology Skills.  Experience using property management software (e.g. Tops, C3, Village Management Software, Caliber, Jenark). Comfortable using Microsoft office (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher)

Quailified candidates will posses the following experience:

  1. Four-year undergraduate degree preferred
  2. Prior experience in business administration, management or public administration
  3. CMCA, AMS designation or previous community association experience preferred
  4. Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or similar experience
  5. Able to attend evening board meetings one to two times per week (2 to 3 hours per meeting)
  6. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (required to conduct neighborhood inspections)

Front Desk Receptionist

We have an opening starting August 31st for a front desk receptionist position in the Commerce City/Brighton area.

  1. Answer the phones with proper phone etiquette and transfer calls to correct employee
  3. Greet visitors in a professional manner.
  5. Solid customer service attitude and team player.
  7. Fax and scan as needed
  9. Some experience managing weekly employee calendars and location reports using Microsoft Outlook.
  11. Answers and routes calls to appropriate employees.
  13. Technology Skills. Experience using property management software (e.g. Tops, C3, Village Management Software, Caliber, Jenark). Comfortable using Microsoft office (e.g. Word, Excel and Publisher)

Qualified candidates will posses the following experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years office administration experience.
  2. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  3. Ability to work 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday
